biography
Ammar al-Beik, born in 1972 in Damascus, Syria, is a conceptual artist and filmmaker. After graduating with a degree in business administration from the University of Damascus, it was his love of photography that guided his future. He is the only Syrian filmmaker to be invited to the Venice Festival twice.
